Conviction

Well...well...well...We. Made. IT.

Happy New Year my darlings!

Some of us made it through whole; some of us arrived in fragments. The truth is, it doesn't even matter how we got through all of it because I think life is us continuously getting it together. Hopefully, with time and good freaking decisions! We enjoy more wholesome moments.

I know, I KNOW social media paints a very different picture, everyone appear to be killing it! But honey, do not be fooled. I believe who are 'killing it all time out loud' have the most to prove. Hey! Maybe I have no idea what I am talking about...but let's all assume I do. Okay? Okay!

I've been thinking long and hard about a word to take me into and through 2026 and could not decide. So, I eventually decided that my word is Conviction.

Why? Well, this business can be very flip, floppy annnnnd, I sometimes find myself doubting my intuition. Wanna know what always happens? I pay a big effing price! Monetary and otherwise.

I pray that I stand unwavering in my belief. Now, don't get me wrong, mama didn't raise no fool. I stand on business but admittedly there are moments I allowed shit to play out for too long or didn't go after something I really wanted well, because I doubted myself. I pray that God reveals his plans for me. No parables. No encoded language without the damn codes. Yeah! Send me them codes too. Awrite, awrite.......I'll take the revelation as it comes. God, please, I need the gift of discernment. He said...ask and you shall receive. There, I asked. My heart, my eyes, my mouth...open! My arms outstretched. I am ready.

Last year I definitely enjoyed a growth spurt. Took some time to steady myself now is pace!

We are doing our first knockout comedy competition in Trinidad, Punched up! There's a vibrant scene developing and that's exciting and inspiring. Punched Up intends to support the foundation.
