Fourth time is the charm

Ahhhh...They say three times a charm but our fourth installation of Tickled proved that to be myth because Tickled 2026 was THE BEST!

Initially Tickled was scheduled to take place in July but the comedy Gods had other plans and you know what they say...The Gods ALWAYS know best. August 8, was our day. So much so, of the ten kids registered only 8 showed and we worked on comedy for 8 hrs. Lucky 8!

The 8 children showed up and showed OUT.

In my 4 years of doing this workshop three different type of kids turn up at the start of the workshop

1. Kids who are ready and eager

2. Kids who would have rather stayed in bed but reluctantly showed up

3. Kids who hate that their parents forced this idea on them

At the end of the day only one type of kid leaves.

I love working with kids. They are so honest and funny.

This year after telling each kid what I loved about them and why the world is a better place because of them, one child asked if they in turn could tell me something. I obliged.

'Cindy-Ann, If I win a million dollars I would buy you a cow because you look hungry'

Ahhhh the honesty warms my heart each time

At the end of the workshop the participants performed their own jokes in front of their parents and siblings. We had a blast!
